Anish Kumar Giri (born 28 June 1994) is a Dutch chess grandmaster. A former chess prodigy, he completed the requirements for the grandmaster title in 2009 at the age of 14 years, 7 months and 2 days. Giri is a five-time Dutch champion (2009, 2011, 2012, 2015, and 2023), and has represented the Netherlands at eight consecutive Chess Olympiads (2010–2026). As of April 2026, Giri is the No. 1 ranked player in the Netherlands, having switched from Russia in 2009.
